Coreopsis auriculata nana - dwarf lobed tickseed

Your rating: None Average: 4 (1 vote)

native nectary groundcover

We are very fond of this dwarf coreopsis. It stays pretty low, even the flower heads are not too tall. The foliage is dense and semi-evergreen. Flowers bloom for a long period.

It seems somhow both slower growing and denser than the similar Chrysogonum, making perhaps a better long-term cover and better companion to other species, such as running juneberry.

We are putting more and more of our garden into this groundcover.
